We have physiotherapists specifically trained in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor related conditions.

The pelvic floor is important to all women at all stages of life. It is essential in bladder and bowel control, supports your pelvic organs (bladder, bowel, uterus) and helps support your growing baby during pregnancy. Often weakness or damage to the pelvic floor can lead to incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse or prevent you from performing activities you enjoy such as running, playing with your children, or travelling. Proper recovery following child birth is also essential for all women in order to prevent problems occurring in the future.

At Hawker Place Physiotherapy, we have physiotherapists specifically trained in assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and other bladder/bowel control problems such as urgency and constipation. Many women do not realise that these conditions can be treated and often cured. Whether you are suffering from incontinence, urgency, a prolapse, or just want your pre-baby body back, we are here to help. It is our goal to help you regain your control and confidence and return to the activities you love.
